Flytrans

A competitive “transport” service offering added value

Our History

With the benefit of its network of experienced agents and the support of an experienced group, FLYTRANS today serves a national and international clientele.

1985

FLYTRANS was created with the following aims developed in response to the needs of regional companies: Provide a competitive “transport” service offering added value. Offer customised solutions that will contribute to the success of local economic stakeholders.

A pertinent strategy, which led to numerous collaborative projects with SMEs, craftsmen, retailers, dealers, traders, import-export companies, etc.

On the strength of this trust, FLYTRANS has forged special relationships with airline companies, guaranteeing a very high quality service at competitive prices.

1995

FLYTRANS decided to apply its commercial concept to the haulage sector through external growth. Its first acquisition was the TSI GOIRAN Company – a major figure in this sector.

The company spent two years developing links in most EEC and Eastern European countries… a European strategy ahead of its time!

1997

By joining the BALGUERIE GROUP, established in all French ports, FLYTRANS extended its field of expertise to the maritime sector.

Today...

FLYTRANS offers the expertise of a company with over 900 staff possessing the full range of technological skills (information technology, technical, legal, financial, etc.).

More than 900 employees, most of whom have many years of experience with the company, drive the business forward. They all receive ongoing vocational training in the transport sector and are capable of managing any logistical, documentary or customs constraints throughout the world.

With the benefit of its network of experienced agents and the support of an experienced group, FLYTRANS today serves a national and international clientele.

Ethics and sustainable development

We are convinced that sustainable success requires the definition of key principles and their strict application by all of the company’s employees and associates.

As an international company, we respect and defend the human and cultural diversity of our staff. We ensure compliance with the rules of competition. Indeed, our employees and associates are regularly informed and made aware of the international and local regulations of competition law, which prohibit cartels and agreements between competitors, for example.

We are constantly attentive to our customers’ and suppliers’ requirements concerning environmental issues and sustainable development.

We are committed to carrying out our activities while paying particular attention to two areas:

  • Reducing environmental impacts by supporting our customers’ choices of environmentally responsible logistics solutions involving multimodal transport methods (Rail-Road, Barge-Road). We thus actively contribute to reducing emissions of CO2: the main greenhouse gas
  • Involving our employees and associates in an internal environmental approach with targets concerning: purchasing, water, paper, waste treatment and transportation.
